Taking responsibility for our actions

At Jump Money we’re fully aware of our obligations to our customers, employees, the community and the environment, which is why we take their best interests into account during any corporate decision-making.

That is what defines our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its central to everything we do at Jump Money.

Taking steps towards reducing our carbon footprint

As you would expect with a future thinking company like Jump Money, technology plays a big part in our CSR. This includes holding virtual meetings via conference calls, video calling and online presentations wherever possible. Saving time traveling between meetings not only reduces our C02 emissions, it also makes us more efficient by enabling our key employees to focus on their core responsibilities.

Cut costs, not trees

Jump Money has become an almost entirely paper-free organisation. If we need to contact our customers we always endeavour to do so via email, our website or our customers online personal account. As a result of this we are proud to say that just 5% of our information is now posted out. We also adopt the same paper-free practice internally, and will only revert to print when it is absolutely necessary.

We'’ve binned junk mail

Being paper-free doesn’t just have a positive impact on the environment, it also benefits our customers too. That’s because, as part of this initiative, we have completely eliminated junk mail and the annoyance it causes. It’s the kind modern yet simple thinking that has become synonymous with Jump Money.

We’re switched on when it comes to turning off

We make every effort to ensure all lights and computers are switched off (not turned to standby) when we leave the building. We also insist that any new computers or mobile devices we purchase have energy efficient technology built-in.

Looking to the future

At Jump we’re always looking at ways to reduce our impact on the environment, with a view to eventually becoming completely carbon-neutral.

We have already shown the value of fresh thinking and we will continue to incorporate new ideas and initiatives into our Corporate Social Responsibilities, ensuring a bright future for our people, the wider public and the planet.
