If you buy Jump gold home emergency cover we will arrange for an authorised repairer to carry out a full annual service of your primary heating system and boiler to ensure that your boiler and system are operating efficiently and are in a safe condition. We will arrange a date with you for this boiler service during the period of cover.
Our service will include:
• Ensure gas and electricity supply are isolated
• Dismantling the appliance to gain access to the combustion area and controls
• Inspection and clean
• Check the heat exchanger surface
• Check the main and pilot burner
• Check the fan, removing all dust from the impeller
• Check all safety devices
• Check all water, electrical and gas connections for soundness and safety
• Check flueways and air intake ducts and flue terminal
• Check and confirm ventilation requirements
